More House Work

The front, bay window of our house was rotting away -- partly due to wet weather, but also being on the north side of the house, it tended not to dry out as quickly. Large chunks were rotted and falling off and there were indications of past replacement of wood and patches made and painted.

So we hired a contractor to take care of it for us. We required 100% maintenance free material be used, so we don't have any more trouble. It is pure white, which avoids our having to paint it too. Even the molding pieces are made of vinyl.

All looks good and should last our time in this house. I don't have any "before" pictures, but included a during and after shot. They also replaced some of the trimwork around my sliders in the rear of the house with the same material.
