So here she (he?) is... the newest addition to the household. Sugar... a light grey gerbil. The kids adopted her from a litter that was at their summer camp.
She is friendly and cute and seems to have a good disposition... as far as we can tell.
After my work trapping mice all winter long, who would have thought that we would be voluntarily bringing rodents into the house! For the record, she was not my idea.

Call her Sugar or Sweetie or any other Willy Wonka name you like, but if that gray wee-beastie gets loose, she'll pinch a few in your dresser drawers faster than you can say, "Honey, who's been eating raisins in my sweater." :-)
