Seward seems to enjoy sculpting people as shown throughout this slate of pictures. These "people" would be seen throughout the park in various sizes and positions. From a slight distance, it was sometimes difficult to tell if these were patrons or sculptures... a swift kick to the shins was all it took to discern the difference.
For lunch we stopped at "Rats" Restaurant, which was named for a character in sculptor Seward Johnson's favorite childhood story book, the Wind in the Willows. We had a wonderful meal at this French eatery - I was very wary as "tourist" park food is typically across-the-board horrendous. I was pleasantly surprised by this meal... until I got the check (ha ha).
It was a really an interesting afternoon and well worth the visit!
