Jackie and I made our way to Broadway for an afternoon of fantastic entertainment at the hit show 'Wicked'.
Our day started with a train ride from a local stop to Newark and then into Penn Station. Once we arrived, we walked to restaurant row and had a wonderful, italian lunch at Becco and then sauntered over to the theater. We stopped in Times Square for a few photos and to take in some of the NY energy. With so many TVs and ads and sights and sounds, it made for an interesting rest location.
At 2PM, we headed to the Gershwin Theater for what proved to be a tremendously captivating show. We sat in the second row, center - a vantage point that allowed us to see every tiny expression on the faces of the actors/actresses. The singing was beautiful, the orchestra was fabulous and the plotline very engaging. Loved it!
All in all a great day - we're already thinking ahead to the next time.

Sounds like a great day. You two manage to make the most of all your time and thats a good thing.

Wicked is very good--startles you when they bang the music on suddenly at the start. Elphaba and Glenda--the war of the witches. I'd vote for Elphaba anytime. (Cath saw it twice!)
Sounds like an ideal day. You will have more time together as your children grow older--nice slice of alone time, topgether time, and family time. You have the world by the tail, whitefordfalcon.
