Recently, I have run into some maintenance issues with leaky hydraulic hoses. Perhaps it is just time that wears on these critical "lifelines", not sure.
Although they are a pain to repair - requiring the mechanic (me) to become one-half grease-monkey and one-half contortionist.
Thankfully it doesn't require draining the 3.5 gallon hydraulic reservoir, but it can and does get a little messy.
Even after my repair, I think I spotted another minor leak the other day. I need to look again... though I dread the thought of having to replace any more.
Headed to the garage now to see just how much blood is being shed by my machine. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Update: Appears that she is losing some fluid... will climb under later today to identify the source. Ugh!
