Sunday Bike Ride

The family went on a bike ride today --- along a local rails to trails path that lead through several towns along its way. Not a long, long ride, but round trip was about fifteen miles.

At one point there was an abandoned shed that cried out for a photo. Black and white brings out the character of this little building set along a narrow road.

Nice well composed pic which engenders thought. Who lived there? How long has it been vacant? etc. Must have had a very conservative lifestyle. Did the barn burn down?

Geez, that's impeccable. The shed looks so lonely, and the sides look almost hand drawn. You got the ideal angle on it, with the road. I can't say enough how superb this photo is. You should either submit it to a contest, or send it to the park service or the local newspaper. If you make a dollar, or twenty, off this photo, be sure to frame it. It'd be the first dollar you have ever made off of a hobby. An art.

P.S. All of your photos are excellent. Many are documents in time of family or events. But every once in a while, one of the photos captures some magic. A work of art. The waterfall was one. The one of the dark water in the snow was another. And this is your latest of that ilk.

One could study this photo for a long while and always get something more from it.
