Today's weather was 103 degrees --- a great afternoon for paddling Round Valley Reservoir with a couple of my best buddies. Both are southerners - one by birth and the other (oddly) by choice, so they were very comfortable in this kind of heat.
Used my GORGEOUS carbon fiber paddle --- amazing and a much appreciated gift from my dear brother. The water was crystal clear --- probably 10 feet deep in the picture and you can easily see the sandy/rocky bottom.
