Gone Fishin'

Aggie headed off to camp this morning with his brand new fishing rod. He was so excited! His camp team went to a local pond where he was able to land himself a panfish -/bluegill. He was so excited to tell us about it when he got home.

He also almost got a big catfish, but it kicked its way free when he broke the water.

I still remember my little black zebco 2002 rod/reel - that little setup landed more fish than all of my more expensive rods combined.

I'll have to take the boy out to Round Valley to see if he can hook into a real lunker!

Wedding, Set... Go!

Here are the kids after primping and preening in preparation for the wedding this past Sunday. We all had a nice time and I think they both really liked getting dressed up (as compared to the typical shorts and tees).

Rachel loved dancing and had a wonderful time with her aunts, uncles, cousins and, of course, Grandma S. She even 'cut the rug' with her parents once or twice.. though Daddy felt like he was cramping her sytle.

Alex was a bit more reserved, but Mommy got him out there a few times - he becomes quite the showman after getting all powered-up on cake and ice cream.

Memorial Day Lemonade

Here's my very first posting to my new blog. As a true newbie to the whole concept of blogging, I am going to keep this very simple at first.

I'm looking forward to being able to share pictures of NJ with my family or other little life tidbits that I run across during the day.
Hope everyone likes reading it as much as I will enjoy sharing.

Much. much more to come. Stay tuned.
