Apple Picking and UConn

Spent the weekend visiting Rachel at UConn and despite the rain, we found time to complete our annual apple picking excursion.

Let the pie making begin!

It was so great to see Rachel for a couple days and we all had a wonderful time.

While she was studying one afternoon, we kicked around the little downtown Storrs area and even popped over for a few periods of UConn hockey --- which was really exciting as we were right against the glass!

Overall a terrific weekend of fun and family, which is what it is all about!
