After letting it spend years quietly in a box in my garage, my shiny brick-red Weber grill has now seen the light of day.
I finally assembled this beauty yesterday, so no more having to light the burners by hand and risk my brows and 'ere receding locks to the instantaneous blaze. In fact, I think this color has been discontinued... so its vintage!
I can now officially retire my old Weber that was purchased back in 1996. Since that time, the old 'green bomb' has held steadfast against the four-seasons... mostly coverless. A couple replacement parts over the last two decades, but not much else.
I can only hope this new, flashy unit will last as long.
