Hacklebarney State Park

With the kids out of school for the day (teacher conference), the family took a stroll through in the woods of Hacklebarney State Park this afternoon. It was a little chilly and breezy and we saw a few raindrops that made us consider taking a shortcut back to the car... but as quickly as they came, the clouds parted and the sun encouraged us down the path.

It was really gorgeous out there hiking along the Black River.

After working up an appetite, we stopped at the Long Valley Brew Pub on the way home for some burgers and a pint or two. Excellent!
