Micro World



Still getting used to my new lens. What I learned is that shutter speed needs to be pretty high when you are so very close to your subject --- the slightest movement is amplified dramatically. Similar to long focal lengths. I better understand why I see macro photographers using tripods all the time, even though they are taking pictures of a stationary flower.

Here are a few quick pix from my backyard today - looking for "small" subjects is interesting.

I use these for wallpaper --- which explains the length/width ratio.
