Boy was the moon ever bright tonight!! A full moon on a very clear, calm and quiet night - tremendous. I took this photo in my backyard at 1:30AM this Friday morning. It looks like daytime out there!
The technical aspects of cameras never cease to amaze me --- such incredible light recording machines.
This shot was taken at ISO 200, f/2 for 15 seconds (which seemed like forever).

Thanks pretty keen. The photo is truly like midday. I wonder of you could capture noctural critters...but they'd have to move less than a turtle.
I wonder why the human eye can't do this.
Very interesting pic. I see the new shed hiding behind the fence and flowers very nice in this special light.
I agree, the light is really not the same as midday. It's sort of eerie. I don't know how to describe it. everything's sort of dark and shadowy at the base, as if lighted from above, and nary a long shadow cast from the side, like morning or evening. You might experiment more with moon photos and delays. You might be able to find a whole niche of photography all your own: moonglow on barns, or something.
If you had something that moved quickly but in same pattern, like a lawn sprinkler, especially if it caught light in the drops, and you did a 15 minute exposure in moonlight, I wonder what it'd look like (one solid object, yes, but it might have startling light pattern). Similarly, if it was something that moved very slowly, like a snail's pace, that's be interesting in time lapse moonlight, too. Or, combine the two. like one of those tractor-looking sprinklers that creeps across the yard slowly by water power, but under moonlight.
You can take these ideas, if you want. Even if you win a big photography award or make loads of money off it, you don't have to give any to me for it. Just name the photos after me, that'd be fine enough.
Ya but you must buy a sprinkler, wait for the next full moon and stay up late to do it.
