Actual Drive In Pics
We all had a great time --- got "seated" before the sun set, so had time to eat a few sandwiches for dinner and play pass football before the sun set.
A small theater, but very crowded with quite a selection of hillbillies. The typical hicks with their family room sofas in the back of their lifted F-150, etc. Not surprised at all that the "redneck nation" was so well represented -- I've been to these before in my home town (in Mass-a-tucky), so nothing new to me!!
All in all the crowd was harmless and rather family oriented when compared to the "all-nighters" of Pioneer Valley, Orange fame.
I think we will go again -- next time going to stash the kids in the back under cover to save a few $.

Glad you enjoyed it. And like most who go to the drive-ins, nit one mention of the movie itself.
That's funny --- you are so right. The movie was "Cars 2", which was good for the kids (and my wife).
Not exactly a flick that would allow even Roger Ebert to provide much of a critique.
You brought back memories of the Pioneer Valley Drive-In. Sneaking in through the brush under the screen, hopping from car to car all night long, rumor of some kid from Mahar High shanking some Athol dweeb with a tire iron.
The gold old days.
