Tully

Here's a snapshot I took during my recent trip home -- Bob and I were at a yard sale up near the Royalston line. This is the giant house with 5 car garage and overlooks Tully Lake. A nice view.

That is a sweet view, and you have captured it well.

I looked at the Wikipedia photo when one looks up Tully Mountain, which is a view from the monadnock on tiny Tully, and I look at your photo, and each reminds me of the thickness of the trees -- as far as the eye can see, with roads and buildings hidden from view, it's so thick -- and how different that is from what I experience where I live now. Trees. I forget precisely how big a factor they are in New England.

That said, the thick snow for 6 months a year is hard to forget.

Very nice Pic of Tully with Lake in front. I still remember unfortunete hesitation in buying the whole 240 acres 15 years ago. Duquet took out $50K in lumber in first year and probably another 30 in gravel from lower section near Old Keen Rd.
