Something about a dormant amusement park that is eerie to me. Maybe it is the thought of scary clown dolls that come to life in the slasher movies or just the dichotomy of a normally loud, bustling, crowd-filled row of amusements against the stark, abandoned, stillness and solitude of a closed park.

Geez, this is a great photograph. Particularly "haunting" in monochrome. I, too, have something eerie about old amusement parks. Closed amusement parks. Laughter of children, forever silenced.
Booo hoo ha ha ha ha. Heeeee (sucking air in)
Sometimes old, run-down amusement parks remind me of the odd clown that lives deep inside me. The one that lives on cotton candy and Mello Yello and peeks out of my cheeks every now and again just to remind me that he's in control. I hope someday to rid myself of him. I may have to get a metal detector and search for a skeleton key and with it, unlock my inner clown. You know, the one in my buttocks, living on sugar.
I'm very tired.
