Jackie and I headed to the Belmont Stakes this Saturday --- lots of races during the day where we can place small bets. Hope the weather holds out for us, but it should be a fun time regardless (seats under cover).
That sounds like a ton of fun. I, actually, have been eyeing Arlington Heights Raceway, where She and I will be this weekend, for some racing fun -- but I have never been to a race, so no idea what I'd find there. But, alas, I will more than likely be writing while She does her two hour card making class, and then (knowing myself) I'll be ready to throw on the feedbag and go home.
Postscript: your photos continue to amaze me. You must have used a fast speed to stop action those horses, and I particularly like the way you got on the infield, sort of looking up for a strong sense of realism. A career with Sports Illustrated can't be far off for you.
