Got back today from a wonderful mini-vacation to Lavallette, NJ. Our dear friends Bob and Peg invited our family down to hang with their family at their beautiful place "Down the Shore". Rachel was glad to have a little sister for weekend and Alex had a great time with his good buddy.
While having breakfast this morning at the beach, I caught his seagull catching his morning meal as well... crab.
Thank you again Peg and Bob for sharing your slice of paradise with all of us - we all had a marvelous time in this world away from it all.

Thanks! Not professional quality, but not too shabby for a rank amateur like me. The beauty was that my new Canon 50D enabled the whole thing. Grabbed focus and shot so fast - I actually had no idea what this gull snatched. Only after I took the pic could I tell. Love my new camera.
