I spent some time walking around Clinton today and checked out the bridge and mill. There was a river-related environmental event at the mill and the grounds were open to the public. So in I went.
Not much going on, but Trout Unlimited sponsored a group of canoes that people could take for rides and there were other booths too... most of which had an educational bent (ugh!). Anyway, I ran across Al here (Alpaca) and snapped a quick photo. As usual, I keep my distance from creatures of all sorts for fear of getting stopped/bitten (mechanical damage) or getting some of their bacterial mojo on me.
This guy was towering over even the tallest humanoids... then there was his little brown brother. He's really cute. I was amazed at how high he could jump - probably about 3 feet off the ground (more than his height!).
Anyway, was interesting to see that side of the river and some of the things going on there today.
