Spent this morning trudging around Teetertown Ravine. A semi-secluded area not too far from my house. Enjoyed some time there in the peace and quiet and then drove around the area taking in other sites. A nice (if somewhat cool) morning.
Hey, now, that's a great shot! Love the way the eye follows the stream back to the bridge, then up the leafless trees. I think you could sell photos online and to magazines. I see that B&W photgraphy is sometimes the only tyep of photography practiced by some artists. You have a knack fro it. I like the depth of the water in this photo--it's dark and cold, like the winter flow. Seriously, nice!
P.S. If you used a sandbag-weighted tripod, turned off the antivibrate, locked the mirror and used a wireless shutter release, the photo wouldn't have that dizzying "shake", but other than that, it's sweet.

Kidding!
Thanks for the critique, Bro. Wish I would have been thinking of all that stuff when I took this snapshot :)
Now that you have that new fancy-shmancy camera, we are expecting Ansel Adams-esque pics from you. Get out there --- winter is a perfect time for B&W.
Oh... for snow shots, I assume you know that you need to bump up the exposure compensation by one stop. SHould be easy with your 7D.
What's exposure compensation?
