Just got my new Altec Lansing T612 today. This sound-dock for iPod or iPhone is really great from what I can tell thus far.
Excellent, room-filling sound quality, while also charging my iPod. 60w per channel allows me to "turn it up, man" and I intend to use it in my master bathroom (might be too good for that honestly). Comes with a mini remote, which is very basic and a 3.5mm plug that accepts input from my (many) iPod shuffles.
Got it for $85 delivered from Amazon which is a steal for this sweet piece of gear... Merry Christmas to me!!

Is there also a sounnd jack plug so one could play a computer, radio or TV output into it??
Yeah, every time I hear the first strains of Layla by Derke and The Dominos, I ask if that's Freedom Rock, too.
I remember the commercial. Who could forget it--that dude has a touch of Down's.
Yes, it has a 3.5mm plug like the one out of an iPod... comes with a male-to-male connection. All said though a computer is pretty good with the mini subwoofer systems available today and TV can be run through larger stereos that are typically co-located. This is especially good for iPods of various types either to play/charge (nano, touch, classic) or just play (shuffle)
