Anyone who has ever had the chance to sample a Lee's Dog as well as a "Famous Nathan's" Coney Island dog will tell you... Lee is 'da Man!! I'd take a Lee's dog, any day, over the thick-skinned, over-priced Nathan's hotdog (though a Lee's special is getting a bit costly at $4.75).
On my last visit to Athol, I ordered and devoured my usual... two Lee's specials with the works plus ketchup, and two diet cokes (gotta save a calorie or two somewhere).
My lunchtime commrade, Bob, placed an identical order, but was not able to pack away all four of his dogs... he gulped down only three and sheepishly declared "no mas".
After muttering something about him picking up his dress at the cleaners, I outwardly stated... "All the more for me!" I quickly scoffed down what would be my fifth and final dog of the day.
As my now bloated, satiated and meat-filled body undulated to the rhythm of the washboard pavment inherent to the Baldwinville back roads, I couldn't help but smile... this was one memorable meal!

Truly a classic pic of "Good Old Lee's. We all agree the best dogs in the world.
Hilarious. Dress. Meat-filled. You had me on the floor. You, wff, are not only a hit dog glutton, but a writer. Write that Dave Barry-ish fun novel and you can retire to Baldwinville and down those inspirational dogs until the ticker choke-stops and you writhe your way from the Lee's parking lot to Silver Lake Cemetary.
You have a way with photos and with words. Thanks for the chuckles. Ckyker1
