After the Arts Fest, I took a solo drive in the convertible down along the river to F.P. Kolbe's -- which is much more well known in this area as "Poor Richard's". Although the name has changed to the lesser known Kolbe's, the eclectic array of interior and exterior decorations has not - which is a great thing. Shoppers spend hours puttering around in here, checking out the many, many items from various categories. This picture is just the outside assortment - the inside is even more crowded if you can image that!
My interest today was outdoor fountains. I saw several of them and in different styles, configurations and sizes. Not sure if any really caught my eye, but I need to give it some more thought. Now that we have eliminated the last of the fish ponds, we want something that will offer some water sound as we sit on our pending new deck and patio area. Poor Richard's was just the first stop for a fountain - we'll need to keep looking and thinking to find something that is just right.
