Slow day today... crew was busy on another job. More materials delivered - PT lumber for the new stairs. Owner did come by to measure and lay out the deck and steps.
After the torrential rains last night, the pond was once again full to the brim and needed to be pumped out.
Full crew expected to be back in the morning to begin footings and decking.
Weather permitting, there should be much more activity tomorrow. Will post details when I can --- probably Sunday.

New blog style interesting. I have some dificulty after clicking Read More and then clicking Back button to get back to the blog. Can;t get back, actually, but maybe it's me. Love the pictures of the deck job. Looking forward to it's progress. Fortunately, it's paid by the kob andnot by the time. Be sure they have a way to get ahold of you or a next door neighbor or something when they trip the circuit breaker and have to get into your house to flip it back or else the project grinds to a halt for the day.
Thanks for the advice - you're right about the circuit breaker. They have my number at work and I can get back in 15 minutes to get them going again. Hope I don't have to do it, in case I have meeting conflicts. I think I fixed the long lost Blog Profile - not that Ihave put much in there.
Hope the back button has cleared itself. I think you can click the blog title and get back too... maybe this is more difficult than it is worth.
